150hp GS in 2019?

Well, with all of this extra power, it's a bloody good job the average rider age is getting younger, the roads are less crowded and are in ever improving condition :D

Have you not seen no more diesel cars, we are free to roam the roads again :wasntme

:D Second thoughts, it might be useful for the electrical grand prix at the lights.. awesome steed vs Nissan Leaf.

I couldn't believe when the BMW bloke told me that shit. Owners don't want more power. Fuuuck ooooffff. How far up yer arse is yer head? But then having a 150 bhp GS competes with the XR

Not quite :green gri

The mothership will need to do something for the big GS, otherwise they will see sales/margins leach away to the new 850 as well as KTMs many offerings.

Maybe the time has come when boxer twin needs a total re-think. Cog low, but dynamics challenging, width & duplication of components - the 850 configuration makes far more sense. It's a bit like the Porsche 911 issue & their need to accomodate hybrid. Just saying.

The question should be: 'Will the power increase also increase the already increasing market share of the awesome GS?' :D

Absolutely - horsepower figures impress prospective buyers, who 'must have' it - to get over Shap.

So how is vvt going to make the tractor handle better? It isn't as good handling now so your statement is a bit confusing.

Not confusing , I was saying that the GS handles better than the KTM and even with extra power it will be a great bike to ride , unlike the ktm which seems see saw ish. Simples

You will upset all the KTM boys now! This is a gonna be a long one!!
