This seems too good to be true, but is it?

I have the opportunity to buy a '99 GS1150 for £4K from a local dealer.

It has only 16K on the clock, a full set of luggage, heated grips, engine crash bars, tinted screen, hand guards, ABS, alarm, remus exhaust.

It would appear to be in surprisingly good shape, considering its age.

The reason for its sale would appear genuine.

Is it too good to true?

I'm new to the GS world, but this would appear to be a bargain.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Many thanks

G

Seems about right from a dealer to me. :thumb2
Can't go too far wrong with an 1150.
You get a fair few very clean 1150's on here for sale. I'm sure someone will be along soon saying to pay £12 to subscribe and get access to the "for sale" section. Probably get more than that back if you pick one up at a better price than 4k.

About £500 too much

There are a lot of good GS's sold on here for the £2200 to £3200 mark

Is it Charles "Lookers Hurts ??

If you buy a similar bike from Mainland you get a much higher standard of warranty and backup and the bike will have full MOT and be fully ready for the road as is required in Motorrad Dealerships! Except Here for some reason!
