Wait until you see the complete and utter shoddy standard of their care of your machine, only paid for the first 2 services (in between 4 engine replacements). You'll soon discover if you want proper care of your investment, there is no other safer bet than doing it yourself, fcukd if I will ever let a 'Technician' near my bike again!
Totally agree. I worked in a bike workshop for a while and left because I really couldn't accept what the customer was charged for the work that was done. Many bike jobs are fairly simple and within the scope of a reasonably competent home mechanic, it's just a matter of having the confidence to do it. And when it comes to something which is beyond you, there are some excellent independants (such as those we have on here) who will do a better job and not take any organs for it.
