Thanks for the pics Liquidlan. Some great shots there:bow

What a fine day out. I hadn't ridden down there for years and it was even rougher than I remembered!!!!!
Started off steady to try and avoid arm pump and backed off when it started.
First couple of lap's were just over 17 minutes. Settled into a rythm by lap 3 and 4 and felt really good especially considering I haven't done any racing for a while.
Hand's started to blister on lap 5 so when I stopped for fuel on lap 6 pit wrapped some duct tape round them which stopped the blisters getting real bad. Quick re-fuel and a banana and off again. Got lap time down to 15 min now although starting to feel it!!!
Into the last hour and it's fairly quiet out on the course so tried to keep pushing hard as it was the best way to keep focused on all the hole's out there!!

The last couple of laps were probably not very pretty to watch though!!

Finished on 11 lap's, very very sore today with just a bit of internal bleeding!!
Must get someting with suspension.
Nice to meet up with some of you yesterday.
Thanks to Bakerman for appearing all over the place giving encouragement.

You passed me on my penultimate lap, i was thinking that if only id gone orange, or two stroke or shed 20 years, id be more competitive then you passed me on your xr 400, still looking very smoooth , and it occured to me it wasnt the bike!! the next low point was i looked behind me and saw a side car, i couldnt remember passing it and wondered where it had come from, then on the next straight it passed me, it sounded like a jet turbine powering it. any way it wasnt long before i repassed it after it had dissintergrated, i have to say the side car thing was interesting, they on the whole presented a slow moving road block,(except the jet powered one) and every now and then you happend on a group of them all gathered around an up turned one being worked on. I have to say that ive had easier days at work than today, there wasnt a part or me that wasnt acheing!!

Pictures of all the riders are now avaliable on -http://www.bikephotos.co.uk/
