2011 R1200GSA Cracked Headlight.

Hi, have tried looking for previous related threads but no joy?

Headlight cracked due to stone chip. Can just the front glass be replaced or is it a complete replacement headlight/unit assembly only??

Have had a look on ebay and the front glass/lens is available at approx £60.00??

I believe it's available separately but if you look in the forum menu you'll find the parts selector url.

Not available in the US separately, but you can get the glass off E-bay. It is not a bolt-on, but doable!

If you're gonna buy one off eBay, be sure the donor bike was stolen in the UK as foreign models dip the wrong way.

From what I have seen they are just fine. By the way, the lense doesn't do the aiming. It is the reflector!

Nope, it is all in the reflector.

Time I got myself a wire type lens protector. I have a poly one but the glare is terrible so its never on the bike.
