Looking forward to a proper and honest independent review from a serious rider once the bike has been taken into it's intended environment and not just beach shots...

Rails are terrible looking but i cant see them when riding and i bought the bike for offroad fun and if anything they will carry luggage and protect tank both sides as same width if i have a fall.

Its true that fuel gauge only start to show fuel from halfway full mark.(very strange)

But my bike showing no fuel at all even when full. Software glitch im told. Will get sorted at 600mile service next week hopefully.

Super job. Glad it’s impressing so far. Hope to get mine next week.. maybe by that stage be a fix for fuel gauge

Re the fuel gauge - the one I had on demo was showing just 20 miles fuel range left, when I filled it up it took just short of 15Lt suggesting it still had 5Lt in the tank

ye yours will be ok, its something to do with the reader not sending signal so showing empty. If your has any bars than it will be fine.

yes free dog included plus a hotline number to a bmw rider to share his experiences just so you know worse things can happen than a breakdown

im still to see a R yet in the flesh..u got yours home before I got to see it...what u thinking of the seat height???? im 32inch inseam and bit worried of the height of it..have a 690 enduro to which is tall but its light and slim

Its fkin tall, im only 5'7 tho, suspension is sweet so not touching that, but seat booked in tuesday to get inch out of it and itl be fine. If u have 32inch inseam itll be grand.

Plus, its not a narrow bike around seat. My 1200gs has a narrower seat
