For Sale 2024 BMW R1250 GSA factory low for sale

Sorry to hear this but yes the GSA is a big bike especially if unsure

If you are still interested in the smaller BMW have you asked the dealer what they would be prepared to give you in p/x.

It is not an ideal situation but it may help solve your problem
Hi,
Yes I approached the dealer but I would need to put down £4000 deposit to make up the deficit on my finance on the bike in p/x

Not a very good position to be in

You probably put the minimum deposit down so that is why they want £4000

If you p/x they will immediately remove the VAT portion and offer an additional reduction of about £1000-£2000

The other difficulty you have is that most people that buy a bike privately will want a finance free bike rather than deal with BMW

best of luck with the sale

Thank you.
But I have the funds to pay the bike off once it sells so I will be paying direct to bmw no problem for the buyer.

Another option to consider - if you like the bike- and feel you could get your confidence back in a reasonable timeframe

Put it in the garage and buy a cheap smaller bike to ride for now.

Yes you would still be paying for it but you would then not lose a large chunk of money by selling

It wasn't sold a "Track day" as such, but more a skills day that you do to hone your skills in relative safety away from.the general public and was run by the BMW Club. The IAM do similar days too and in both cases you need to be a member to participate so either of those might be an option?

Sorry you have got that wrong! Both the IAM and BMW club (26th July at Cadwell) track days are open to non members on road legal bikes.

That is indeed true, few years ago at Thruxton van rocks up and 2 s1000rr bikes inside tyre warmers etc.
During thr briefing it was made clear what the day was about, they weren't very happy as they thought they had found a way to do a track day at Thruxton. They packed up and left after the briefing.

Yeah that’s correct
You might find that We Buy Any Bike might clear your PCP (I understand that We Buy Any Car does now for Cars). It takes several days for ownership to pass from BMW (as you lease the bike) to the new owner. The best and easiest method is for you to have ownership by paying the PCP off and then selling as your own machine. GLWTS (y)
