I installed mine on the outside of the bar end weights as per instructions and then plenty of clearance.That's the Barkbusters fitted. A bit of a faff due mainly to the front brake hydraulics. I removed all of that (2x 8mm bolts) and fitted the alu bars loosely. To get enough clearance for the hydraulics the bar weight had to be fitted outside the alu bar. It's a tight squeeze for the brake lever but there's just enough clearance. Just.

That is weird! The gap betwixt alloy guard and lever is huge compared to mine! I'll need to take another look!
