2026 CB1000F

Check out the Tokyo Show vids on YouTube - it looks great, production ready, but they still talk of it as a concept. Apparently the Z900RS has proved a top seller in Japan for some years, so it makes sense to cash in on the retro classic theme.

Around 1 minute in here ........

Is it me or does this look the absolute bollocks ?

No, definitely not just you. I have to say there aren't too many new bikes that I see where I think to myself "yes I could see me buying one of those". On the face of it, this would seem to tick the boxes for me.

That looks very nice ,so much better than the last 15years naked offerings

250 Superdream styling. Can't say I'm that bowled over. Prefer the look of the Hornet 1000

Looks like a Hornet chassis, with a retro tank and seat unit. Bit disappointed with it to be honest, as it kinda looks like the tank/seat unit is just plonked on top off the bike!

Personal taste and all that but IMHO that is hideous.

Shame they’ve gone with a TFT rather than traditional clocks .
Personal taste and all that; i like that customised bike; somebody has put a lot of money ; love and time into it; i've seen one done like it but with a Yamaha xj 1300 motor in it which in my opinion is a far better engine. As for the new one's i'am almost there with them; the fact they've been built on a good base and kept the 150 hp engine from the new thou wont do it any harm on the shop floor if they get the pricing right. The Kawasaki 900 retro is now £11500 and only 110 bhp although you would'nt think so thrashing one through the gears; they do go and handle quite well. Having bought a brand new 900 Honda when they first came out( although it did'nt last long) the looks still tickle me now. I've been a Kawasaki guy for years tho so i'am still in the big K corner when it comes to retro's . :beerjug:
