Another thing I found out today which disappointed me is that the bike is does not work for answering the phone through the screen!! the music works fine but IOS does not work for call answering !! what the fcuk !! thats a silly move, tried it on the ADV350 and thats exactly the same !! what a shit !!

When I’m on me bike my phone is unimportant.
I don’t want distractions

Will something like this solve the issue? I know it's been an issue for a while on Honda's I was looking for a friend who has a NT1100 and is coming to Portugal later this month, suffering the same issues. He hasn't bought it yet as he is away sailing ATM.

If you get one first please let me know.

Hi guys I need a bit of help. My cbf 1000 when I take my hands off the handle bars I
get a real shake. It doesn’t shake when normal riding. I have checked tyre pressure and the headstock also adjusted the front shocks. Nothing I have done has made any difference, last thing is to get the front wheel balanced if anyone has any other ideas please tell thanks In advance Steve

Mine does not do this, however my Africa Twin and so did the Transalp I adjusted the head bearings on both and it was cured ?

I can answer the phone in my Honda car! It is not illegal to answer a phone hands free. A lot of people have the capacity to answer a phone call and ride a motorcycle or drive a car. If you don't want to do it, is a personal choice, but the option should be there.

Exactly I could answer calls on My Africa twin no issues its just on these two I cant, frustrating I must say !! did another 100 mile ride yesterday and now getting used to the bike its feeling much nicer and a bit more mine
getting happier and happier with it every ride,

I thought the CBF1000 was about 20 years old so could probably do with new headstock bearings unless I'm reading this wrong its not CB1000GT etc current bikes. Regarding oil use I had my 1st service at 750mls and I checked before the service the oil level was on the top mark, I've now done 2K the oil level has not move. Either I've got a good one which don't have oil use or they have solved the problem.

The bike is looking great Ab, the gold wheels and colour matched top box still makes it useful for commuting especially since you’ve lost those awful panniers
