2026 CB1000GT

I think the red/black option looks ok in those photos. Would need to see it in the flesh to make a decision. IMHO a quantum leap over the white in the earlier pics doing the rounds, that really did make it look as dull as the proverbial ditchwater.
With the CB1000F looking good, there’s now 2 possibles for me in the Honda lineup when it comes to bike change time.

I wonder if will come with an E clutch at some point.

Think it’s too powerful for an e-clutch.
Would be good though as e-clutch is ace.

Meanwhile, the red is the best of the bunch

And given the huge spec , the price is a bargain

So it’s £11999 with this included

Base spec is mightily impressive too, with rear panniers (37l left and 28l right), cruise control, heated grips, hand guards, a centre strand, and quickshifter coming as standard. A full suite of lean-sensitive electronic aids are controlled via a 5in glare-resistant TFT dash, with backlit controls on the left-hand switch cube and mobile connectivity.

Looking at the configuration, I’d only add the comfort pack

I think that’s a VERY good price .

Might be tempted but having the Wing and X-Adv, would it get used ?

Still like the look of the CB1000F but it’s only £1300 cheaper .

Red is definitely the preferred colour.
Missenden Flyers review popped up on my phone first. But 44teeth gave a much better review.
Good spec at a good price. Let's see how it looks in the flesh.

Seems Honda are taking the Chinese bikes seriously and are putting out some good value bikes now although using older engines as such I have an Africa twin DCT which im due to change soon so will give this a go at that price.

Spec the CB1000F up to a similar spec to the GT and it’s only £500 less and you get panniers with the GT !

Looks better on camera, still not sure about the front fairing

Sorry it’s in foreign

Agreed-looks better ‘in the flesh’ though fairing is a bit pointy .
I see they’ve fitted those thin hand guards , same as on X-ADV then charge you another £40/50 for extensions !

I’ll definitely try one as well as CB1000F. The GT would definitely be more tour-able, but then I have both Wing and X-ADV that can tour so CB1000F might be better as it’s a tad different .

Nice to see an in-line four Honda attempting to take on the competition. I'd be interested. What's not to like? I do wonder who thought of the colour 'mud'. What about 'clay'? Let's see what the reviews say.

Just clocked it’s got semi-active suspension as well !

That price looks right according to configurator

They did a very decent trade in price to be honest so deal done bike ordered looks like the delivery date is 2nd week in Jan, obviously that will change to Feb ive no doubt at all !!

Is that with Dobles?

No I went with Miles Kingsport, only reason is the Africa twin came from there so they know the story with it, if they had not of offered the right part ex Im sure Paul from Dobles would have

Weight distribution changed by 0.2% to lighten the steering? MCN (or Honda) must think we're stupid.
