2026 CB1000GT

Just had an email from the dealer !!

Hi Rob,
Not great news unfortunately.
Honda have a specific parts supply issue affecting CB1000GT. This means at the moment they are not expecting machines to arrive until June.
I am away until Saturday but wanted to give you an update as soon as I heard. This is a nationwide issue affecting all dealers.
I will give you a call on saturday to discuss further.
Please accept our apologies for this situation,

just great 5 Month delay !! what the Fcuk !!

Damn !

Wonder if my CB1000F has similar delays ? 🤔

Got to say I am really pissed to be honest
Not sure about the F ill find out what item has the issue tomorrow and report back it could be something that they share !!

Capital B bollocks !!

Be interesting to see how many people will wait that long, excluding the affluent who buy and sell frequently who may buy something else in the meantime?
Btw nothing against affluent buyers they provide used stock for us normal people!

I’d heard they’d taken over 700 orders .
I’d those bikes aren’t available till the summer I’d imagine a good few will pull out. Think I would .

I am waiting to see what they say as I have 2 trips booked for March and May so id say 3k miles more on the Africa Twin that ive already done the trade in deal with so will they suffer paying the same money for it with 3K miles more and 5 months older ?? I wonder

I’d imagine that with the number of bikes you buy from them they’ll suck it up (y) They’re dumb if they don’t

Google mentioned semiconductor shortage, also:

...the new Honda CB1000GT (or Hornet) is facing significant supply issues, with dealers reporting nationwide delays and extended waits (months) due to ongoing global supply chain problems affecting parts and production, even impacting deliveries into mid-2026 in some markets like the UK. These broader Honda logistics issues involve marine transport, port congestion, and component shortages, leading to delayed bikes or bikes arriving with missing parts.

My local dealer emailed today and advised September for a black 1000F.......

No such mention that I can see .
The only mention of any delay comes from this very forum 😜

What did you enter in Google to find what you did ?

If they had any major problems with supply they wouldn’t have gone ahead with the launch

Even if the motor and frame are not completely new there will have been a certain development period and they’ll have taken the time to gear up for initial demand and production

Well they must have some issue if Rob’s bike is now coming in June rather than January.
Although my dealer told me first GTs were due April so I reckon maybe Rob’s dealer was telling porkies

I forget now, something like "why is Honda's new CB1000GT delayed?" Now when I do, up pops countless glowing video reviews of it?

Got my call Today and the delay is on the GT the F and the Hornet !! the dealer said he thinks that the new June delivery date is over the top and they will be here before that that is worst case scenario, and he thinks they will be earlier, then went on to say they will honor the deal with whatever additional mileage is on the ATAS as its completely out of my control, I said if its June it could be an additional 3000 miles, if I go on both trips his reply was that's fine its a problem between us and Honda, that came straight from the MD of Miles Kingsport who I have dealt with many times, and have no reason to doubt, we will see if other people are selling them before I have mine Ill go and see him face to face but as I say they are a great dealership so I doubt he is telling porkies !!
