2027 Tenere 900

Well, it’s what so many people have been waiting for for so long. Personally, I would want a 19” front and a 17” rear wheels, but we will see……

Anything is maybe, especially when you get AI to generate a believable impression of what the finished bike will look like. It's a saturated market already and I think maybe the adventure bike 'fashion' has run its course. I'd like to see a few 'tall rounder' options along the lines of the TDM900 and Tiger Sport 1050 (but better)

So would I and I'd quite likely buy one, but I'd like the CP3 to get a balancer shaft.

Why? Do you think the CP3 motor needs a balancer shaft? I have a 2023 Tracer9 and I’m interested in your request.

One of my few gripes with my MT09 are the vibes at certain revs, particularly motorway speeds. Not a massive thing, but smoother would be better.

That’s interesting, because, as you probably know, the CP3 bikes had a recall to replace the TPS, (IIRC), anyway, my bike was smooth as silk, no vibes anywhere at any revs or speed. After having the recall done, there is a patch of vibration around 70 mph which I was going to tackle the dealership about, but I haven’t just yet.

I just thought triple motors are not naturally balanced.
I think they are with a 120 crank but isn't the idea of crossplane to introduce a uneven firing to aid traction? Admittedly I don't see traction being an issue on an mt07 🙂

I think Crossplane just means that the big ends are not in one plane, so technically nearly all triples, which are nearly all 120⁰, are crossplane. Take one step back here 180 Jotas, which are not crossplane.

On further investigation, it seems the CP3 does have a balance shaft though.
