3 days and nights in Scotland...

Hey,
Myself and the better half are heading over on the ferry to Stranraer from Belfast on Monday. We'll be visiting friends in Glasgow during the day on the Monday and then heading off for a short bike trip from there. Any recommended routes/points of interest. Don't want to be doing huge mileage.. Maybe about 300km a day. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also any recommendatios for a nice cheap b&b north of Glasgow for the first night?
