Yep thought as much Benhams in Wolvo to big to care.

I have used Clarks many times before excellent service, they only charged me for oils, filter and O-rings.

Why do they do it when its obvious you'll take your custom elsewhere in future.

I only hear negative feedback regarding customer service and charges at Wolverhampton and experienced similar myself, they have a new after sales manager there now supposed to improve their image, but I have little faith, actually you have a cracking BMW mechanic in your area at Church Stretton & very helpful.

Think your wasting your time mate, the old 'Red Mist' seems to have descended on this thread. I've already listed my Benhams experiences some time ago and I'm a Clarkes customer now.

I totally agree, My philosophy on life is I don't waste energy on matters that I cannot change, so sod-em, there are still a few people out there who can provide good service at reasonable costs, Benham's isn't one of them.

IIRC the oil on my last service was itemised at £60 + VAT

For 4 qts of 10w-40 and about a qt of GL5 that could be a record. Now I'm almost afraid to take mine in for it's 600 mile service.

Funniest thing I ever saw was 2 guys coming head to head on the car park at Grafham water on the morning of a competition.
They had been having a keyboard spat for sometime on a forum, with one of them getting really personal.
To say the gobby one shat himself is an understatement, the quiet bloke was going to rip his head off.

Making threats to someone you don't know is Russian roulette & a very dangerous game to play!
