600 mile service

Hi all is the 600 mile service free as in parts and labour?how long does it take? and what do they do at that service is it only oil/filter change?

I get my 600 mile service next week and have to pay for the oil and filter only . I was told i would have to leave it for the day so it could cool down before they worked on it , apparentley every thing is checked or so they say . Definitally need a lower seat .

Since 01-01-05 reg you have to pay parts and fluids no labour, but watch this space!

Had mine done about the back on of May this year, asked the guy how much it would be when I dropped off my bike and was told £45, when I collected it later was waved away without paying. Go figure!

Had mine done 2 weeks ago at Cannon in Chelmsford. Left bike @ 14:00, picked it up at 16:00, cost £35.

Just found out that the dealers have to cover the labour, but it is at their discretion as to whether to cover the parts or not.

North Oxford cover everything, seems that not all dealers do...
