Mine's booked in at Rainbow this Friday - I was told ITRO £130. Sounds fine to me. First time getting mine done here - I've heard very good reports about them. Where are you going?

Mine goes to Blue Bell on friday.

6 k Service plus new front discs, which they said were warped last time they test drove it, after it had been recovered.

It gets better the more I ride it.

£304, 6k service plus new rear tyre. Woolaston

Was it a gold plated rear tyre? At aproximately £140 they've had a nice little earner there. BTW £156 @ Williams for 6k only service last week.

6k

£135.. plus oil etc approx £150

(half the time was spent on plugging it into diagnostic's etc it would appear)

Yes... have had a little rodent living in my front brakes since about the 2K mark.
It certainly draws attention in town when coming to a halt!!!

You can do a site search for more info on the cause’s and assorted fixes but BM now do a ‘quality enhancement’ mod to cure the problem. Am sure the more technically literate on here might be able to explain what they do in better detail than me but for now it appears to have worked.

Peace at last… peace at last… :) :beerjug:

Service

Rainbow - £143 all in (inc. VAT) - great service and a good bunch of people. Supplied and fitted my new Remus Rev Ti at a very competitive price - bike now sounds like it should :clap

I will be using Rainbow again without a doubt! ;)

Collecting bike from Vines of Guildford on Sat, 6000mile service with a £238 bill including rear brake pads?

Cheers

6000 mile service @ park lane battersea

£224.68
incl £15 loan bike charge
they sorted the front brake squeak as have done 1100 miles since the service without any noise

Mind you, the service was just the start of it.

Nail in rear tyre and they couldn't get a tyre for 3 days - so temp seal and off to tyre place local.

No standard tyre so Tourance fitted. Suggested new front too as that was almost illegal - ouch.

Then, as I moved my bike to let someone out, I dropped me new Shoei lid on the concrete floor - bugger. Chipped outer but rest of lid seems ok thankfully.

Got home, locked bike away and told wife to drive in case anything else went wrong that day.....

Next day, called at Hein Gericke and bought new winter jacket.

The wife saw some earrings in the nearby shop for £6.75, so I splashed out on her considering I'd just spent £600 on myself and the bike.

Do you guys replace tyres with punctures or use that liquid slime type stuff? :bounce1
