Another on my list for next year or the year after

which seems to get longer by the week

Have i seen a hint of a 890 SMC ?

Does that mean there’ll be an 890 Adventure?

Don't think this year. But Husky have jumped ahead with The Dennis, though it's only a 'concept' at the mo.
Looks good I think.

They forgot to put the mirrors on! :D

Looks good though. :thumb

Well....I like the look of that. Looks like the expensive WP suspension they’ve done for the 790. Will end up being another softroader though won’t it? Like the Africa Twin, GS & 1290. A few die hards and the rest used on the street. We’ll see! Like it though.

Ha!

My bike is costing me £120 a month, and is a hoot to ride. Very happy. So I'm in a good bike place at the moment and am certainly not thinking God-Damn ... !!

Is that a folding dash; or some kind of sat nav? Looks good.

I have yet to read anything positive regarding reliability and the 790 engine.....Anyone here have any positive comments and or experiences.
890 looks promising.

Hmmmm

Giles speaks very highly of his 790 but i do think they are made in India rather than Austria

So have you read anything negative about the 790 engine?

It's clever. (modern engineering is). If you didn't know, and could ride a bike blindfolded, you'd think it was a V-twin that doesn't run out of puff at the top.

Its a brand new engine from the around up (ktm's first parallel twin I think), so I guess reliability is yet to be tested, but Ive read that the engine was subject to over a million miles of testing.

The new 890 looks to be the bollocks, 185-190Kg with a full tank of juice and 119bhp on tap! That has my attention now.
Don`t matter how much you read though, sometimes you just have to go with it.
