Just a word of thanks for the "overseas" input fellas. Sometime ago I enquired wether or not I'd have mechanical issues with a low mileage PD that has not been run in several years. Y'all told me to go for it....I flew out to New Mexico and rode that bike basically across country to my home. @ 4000 miles later I am happy to say that it runs like a champ...the only issue is a leak at the front seal... the bike just turned over 10,000 miles yesterday. :) Thanks again! Tony Graf (Tennessee Hillbilly) U.S.A.

Y'all are nuts over there...I am living in the wrong country:thumb2

Hang on, you bought a non-runner sight unseen and then proceeded to ride it 4000 miles to get it back home on the say so of some daft Tossers you've never met?
Yes, we are the nutty ones alright. :loopy

What an adventure it was too! Sleet, rain and two sandstorms...Didn't even know we had such a thing as sandstorms in the states.

A few years ago I did the same thing.
Bought sight unseen. Reportely sat in a basement for 8 years. Was told she had 13K on the odo,but when I got there she had only 10K and a bit dusty.

A little TLC and her she be!!! :bounce1
