Avoid today 2 bikers dead from what I hear
Very sad rip:rose

Bad news indeed that's a local road to both of us, do you know where exactly?

Capricorn rescue bend, went to pet shop earlier apparently 5 bikes involved one in a field on fire!

I came that way on the blade about 9 pm last night it's a quick left from mine and a very tight right the other way at 60+

We noticed the road closed and air ambulance landing on our way up to the horseshoe and feared the worst, hope the others involved pull through ok.

6 bikes, 1 car, 2 fatalities (riders), 5 further casualties to various hospitals. Location as above. Road will be closed for some time. Sad indeed.

Crash

Also one of my regular blatting routes, & friends at animal place at side, thoughts with families.

Two less to get in my way next time I'm out there.

Very sad for the car driver too, if not at fault.

Terrible news...

judging by the car looks like 2 head on towards pont very quick left hander there, were the others overtaking on that bend!!! ouch very sad

Quite concerning when I regularly ride there with my wife in front, there was a close on in front of her last week on the same road and I felt quite angry about that at the time, I know it's a matter of wrong place, wrong time but I do my best not to use the 'usual' roads on Sundays and Bank holidays when all the knobs are out.

People out to enjoy a Sunday ride and it ends in that! Then biker's complain about being persecuted in N Wales:blast

Just one more reason to avoid the area.

Sign on the ponderosa says the roads are very dangerous to motorcycles, I'd suggest the motorcyclists are the dangerous ones not the roads.

I rode that section a few weeks ago when BSB was at Oulton Park. It was a lovely ride out as most of the loons were watching the racing :D

Having witnessed plenty of shit riding in the area nothing surprises me. I just hope the dead are the cause of the crash and not innocent victims of somebody else's moronic behaviour. Having had a number of near head on accidents in North Wales, involving others on my side of the road, it's easy to understand how these things happen.

It'll all be 40 limits soon.

I went on the protest ride a few years back. Walking around the car park was an eye opener. I'd say 2 in 10 bikes were legal (at best).

I walked up to a copper on a bike, apologised for being there and explained why I was on their side now, put on my helmet and got the feck out of there.

Loud pipes are annoying and illegal, but not dangerous. Half the bikes were shod with bald tyres, knackered fork seals, fecked brakes, fooked controls, I was thoroughly embarrassed to be there.

I totally agree with N Wales traffic policy against bikes, they get what they deserve in the main.
