Thats half the problem nowdays - They're trained to plug in the diagnostic computer, and if it doesn't show any faults, it's contemplate the navel time.

update
Got a call yesterday pm. They're going to replace the Hall Sensors and give the bike a long road test. Fingers crossed that it's fixed now. I'll let you know when I get it back.

picking up the bike in the morning. A bmw techie had it all weekend and "it never missed a beat". fingers crossed

Picked it up this morning
it works! Beautiful shiny blue and white (the fastest colour combination) GS ran perfectly all the way home - about 3 miles. But it didn't cut out.
Battersea had fitted new Hall Sensors and given the bike a good clean and polish.
Can't wait for the weekend when I can travel a bit further.
