Has anyone used the procedure on IBMW riders to get arround the fault on start up.
I know I could just get a new battery but the current one seems fine apart from this

What's the procedure?

Most people who know their battery isn't at 100% turn Ign. on, wait a few secs, then start up....or start, ride for a few minutes then stop and restart.

It is detailed here

As I understand it, the ABS is rewired to do a voltage check after the engine starts

Just let it do the voltage check before you start it.

Lot of the time, the ABS is checking the voltage as people press the starter, so it gives a low voltage as the starter is taking most of the current as the battery is being checked.
