Not perfect
Been noticing in this really hot weather (25 - 30degC) that the bike has been not quite so well behaved. Particularly just after start up, the bike has been surging quite bad on the overrun. Even when warmed up it wasn't quite as good as it normally is. I'm used to a slight surge on the overrun, I think its when the fuel is switched off for emissions regs.
So decided today to ride to work without the Accelerator Module. Well its a different bike. Yes, slightly less low down torque, but a much smoother transition to closed throttle and a consistent feeling on overrun. All in all an easier bike to ride.
I therefore suspect that the Mk1 has its limitations in the hot weather. As I'm off touring on the continent in a few weeks, its not going back in.
For the record, my bike is a '57 GSA, Remus Headers, Remus can with bung in.
