I bought an aerosol tin of ACF50 last year, but when I came to use it recently the tin had rusted through. So don't forget to apply ACF50 to your tin of ACF50.
If you put it on yourself ( I've got a tin) it goes on a bit thick which I'd imagine is what gathers the muck . Yes you can do it yourself, but I reckon All Year biker do it better
Doing a search brings up allyearbiker and their venues. Can someone recommend someone who comes to other locations for 2 to 4 bikes in the Redhill area? Thinking of pooling with others interested.
Re spraying the bike I find it better to paint the stuff on with a brush and use a radiator extended brush to get into all the awkward places. The spray seems to put too much on in one go so brushing avoids this. When I wash the bike I tend to use a traffic film removed first to degrease the whole thing then after a thorough wash re apply the ACF, its great stuff and worth the money.
Went to see Richard of all year biker in Nantwich today. For £60 it's worth having them do it once a year and topping it up yourself.
The process is pretty thorough, but it isn't a valet so don't expect the bike to come out factory fresh. Having said that, he did clean it beyond what most people would do so it is very clean.
Acf50 if applied too thick is a waste and attracts the dirt, best to apply very sparingly and wipe over covered bits with a cloth.
I learned a lot today, so £60 well spent and highly recommended for the anti polishers like me.
