Have I done a silly thing? Before the winter I applied ACF50 all over the bike and took the silencer off to check the exhaust flap, clean it and then applied ACF50 liberally to the spindle thinking that would keep it lubricated. Have used the bike a bit since and notice that ACF50 gets a bit hard and sticky on the outside of the exhaust now that its been hot. The flap still ok but should I clean it out again before use . Anyone done this before?
I cant be the only one. Also whats the best way to clean ACF off again in the spring?

Let it do its job, leave it on.
