Morning folks
I'd like to pick the brains of the collective if I may.
I'm after an 1150 GS, having had a couple of 1100s over the years. I want the extra height and clearance that the adventure gives, but don't really want to pay the premium they're going for just now.
So the plan is to get a really good standard GS and raise it to Adventure seat height (I'm a lanky fecker) along with a few other bits and pieces to make it more "Adventurey".
Has anyone done this?
Anything I should look out for?
For example the drive shaft angle and length of overlap on the splines will change.
I guess most people not so lanky would be doing this the other way around, to lower an adventure.
Welcome your thoughts ...
