Evening all,
A couple of weeks ago some mates and I went on our first trip to Europe on the bikes. We went on Hull to Rotterdam Ferry overnight, rode to Nurburgring, stopped overnight near Cochem then rode onto Black Forest - which was fantastic!
When we got towards Baden Baden I noticed there was slightly less pressure at the clutch lever. This got progressively worse over time to the point where I rode 400miles on the third day (and nearly made it to the Ferry) with minimal clutch use, using it only where absolutely necessary. I got recovered to the Ferry and then home to Lincoln from Hull the following morning. Must say the recovery I took out with Breakdowndirect was bloody fantastic and worth all of £17.45 for the 3 day cover!!!
Anyway, enough waffle, I have done some research on here and have almost come to the conclusion that, as the bike drives well (no clutch slip), that the plates could be ok, and as there is no slip - the slave cylinder could be ok, should I start by replacing the master cylinder seals?
Any help/advice or piss taking welcome. Thanks.
