Does any one have a pair of these, if so did you get teh same as your trouser size or a size larger. I am thinking of getting a pair but want to make sure that I get the right size

Cheers

I have 2 pair. Get them a litle big and long especially if you are going to get the hip pads. They will customize them anyway you want, above and/or below the knee.

cheers

when you say a little big should I get the next size up?

I wear 34 waist & ordered the 36 long. The first pair I bought are 34 regular. They fit real good, but are a little snug after awhile and just a little short even with tall riding boots. The larger pair look odd while standing around because they're a little baggy and long, but on the bike they are perfect!

Call them first!

I don't have the Darien Trouser, but have an roadcrafter suit.

Similar to yourself, not sure what size to order. Especially since it was mail order from the US, and it was quite a bit of money.

I decided to call them. The lady that took my order was very good. she asks you about my regular clothing sizes and then ask what I wanted to use it for. They then recommended a size and it fits exactly how they described.

I would recommend ordering by phone and have a chat with them before deciding on the size.

good advice - Sam do you have the jacket - quite interested, but it a lot of money if the size isn´t right!

Actually I found someone with a pair of 36" and they were too tight now wondering if I should get the 38 or 40?

Aerostitch - Darien Trousers

Samsgs, take Shag’s advice. I am a 36 waist and have a 38L Darien Trousers – Like shag said - they look odd while standing around because they're a little baggy and long, but on the bike they are perfect. The Darien waist is also very easy to make smaller (popper buttons and belt). Just remember, there is nothing worse than tight fitting trousers when riding. My girlfriend also has an pair and we bough them a size bigger to – Waist wise fine but they did not fit perfectly - the knee pads were to low - We sent them back and they cut up a new pair and shipped them out at no extra cost. Aerostitch has excellent customer services!!
