Africa Twin is HERE !!!

Plus Honda uk service is the worst I ever dealt with.
They don't phone u back.
When u do get someone they tell u different stuff too first person u talk too.
It's a pantomime

Seems people get all or nothing as far a trouble touch wood no sign of corrosion or any troubles no sticky switch gear ???
Might depend on batch factory I bought mine late May might be a later bike ???? Only done a 1000 miles but it's been typical Honda so far

Has anybody had starting issues from cold.
Bike initially fires up but dies straight away.
Takes sometimes bout ten goes before it idles
Doesn't happen all the time

The demo bike I had yesterday required holding the starter button for a second or two, after the engine fired up. Seemed odd, but I soon got used to it.

Bike fires up ok but dies out immediately. 6 thou miles only.
3 switches changed already
Still waiting on refund cheque from Honda for grips as they can't fix them. 2 sets replaced. Been messed about regarding that.

No, fires first time every time.
Spokes shiney.
Grips, not hot enough.
SET button, keep it lubed with silicone.

Hardly piles of niggles, but maybe disappointing for some considering Hondas build reputation.

Speaking to a chum who owns a SuperTen 1200.....his spokes were tarnished which IMO is down to how it's looked after.

My first switch didn't work from brand new and spokes were tarnishing after couple hundred dry miles.
I know Hondas build quality isn't that good but u would thought they would have pushed the boat out a bit with this bike.
They bleated on bout it long enough before released it

A few friends bikes all the same.
With same issues.
One has been returned for a full refund.
Bike cutting out in a straight line and can't be fixed

Surely the tubeless setup won't be as good if u nipped a tyre off road
Even just too catch a big stone on a rough lane??

Therein lies the problem the marketing on this bike was so slick we all fell for it including me It felt like it was coming from the HRC stable nothing could be further from the truth it was deliberately price pointed so appeared cracking value with" Honda superior quality" but by the time you have spent £3000+ and more is it really that a good a buy think about it,

Not really.
All the talk bout it being tested for years etc before the launch.
That's a load of nonsense.
How in that time did nobody suss the heated grips are crap.
Plus switches. Spokes.
And the odd starting issue
