Does any of this require fueling changes on a 1200?
Who put the crap in akrapovic
Who put the ream in remus
Who put the stain in staintune
Who put the lame in blue flame

Has anyone actually determined whether aftermarket cans actually improve performance or whether its just a case of it sounds louder so it must be faster. I mean I removed the baffle from the silencer on my Tomos moped years ago and it certainly sounded faster - but went much slower.....
Seriously I've heard a lot of these cans create an enourmous flat spot in the mid range unless you are also prepared to faff around bodging an aftermarket 'chip' into the ECU (which will inevitably go wrong at some point in the future)

my bike has standard system on and it sounds, I think very good, it will also wheelie like a good'un,but you don't want to be doing to many'a them, but as for loud/loudish zorsts,if like me you do some back road riding in remote areas I don't think it's a very good idea to make a lot'a noise in these out of the way places that are normaly quite quiet.Well, I'm afraid I don't have any charts to back me up, but when I put a full staintune system on my old bike it made an incredible difference. I was able to wheelie off the throttle, something it never did before. But then that was an 1150R, and removing the cat on them is like removing a pillion
