The boat was grand, loads of time to get into the swing of things.
The boat started sailing about 3ish , so I had me a shower went up stairs to get some grub, after that I thought it was a bit early to go the bar so I went in to watch a film , star trek I think and after all that I went the bar.

Bye Bye france

At the bar met up with some blokes.
This fella 67 years old nice bloke from Dublin his wife died 3 years earlier so after a while he got a MotoGuzzi and he travels around a bit.

These two one rode a Triton and the other rode an old ww2 bike it was army green.

They knew some shit about bikes and they could drink too, I was startin to forget livin away from Ireland for so long.

After the bars closed and the pretty latvian bar maid kicked us out of the bar we went to the other bar, and when that closed we all went our separat ways.
Next mornin wakin up all fresh and rarin to go

I was workin on Dutch time but the boat was workin on irish time so I lost an hours sleep by gettin up too early, which gave me more time to pack the bike.

Made it home to me Mammy and Daddy, the dog was pleased to see me .

Was having a bit of trouble stoppin the bike while in France, it wasn't stoppin as quick as it normally does,

Looks like the pads where a bit worn out to the metal.

Me Da gave me a hand changing the pads or more likely he showed me how to do it .

After that I couldn't get him off the bike, I wonder what he was thinking...

Went to visit a mate of mine from Dublin who is now livin in West Meath.
On the way there I rode thru some liquid sunshine.

But I didnt mind.

Me mate lives near the lake where the childeren of Lir that where turned into swans lived.

Had a drink or two for a couple of days then I headed back to dublin

Ruins of an old monastary

After the previous owners left the locals used it as a quarry to build the cow sheds.

Had a guided tour and the woman went into more detail about the history of the monastery

I was telling some tourist there that that was the door the lepricauns used to get into the church

The monks used to say if ye gave them yer land ,when ye die you'd get right to the front of the que at heavens gate, thats how the church was so wealthy, but the Normans sorted out that and came to Ireland and took it all off them, here are the graves of the que skippers

I didn't have a car.

Met some bikes but didn't see the riders.

I was going to visit New Grange but didn't when I saw ye had to take a Bus there, when we were kids we could drive right up to it, but not any more.

And back to Dublin

Thats me checkin the internet for chicks on bikes

Went to visit me Uncle, gave him a go of the bike

Took the dog for a walk and the sign said keep dogs on the lead,
But the dog can't read

The grass is a different colour green in Ireland

This is Christ Church, its on top of a hill and when ye walk up there and get to the door ye say to yerself Christ I made it

Imagine how much all this stuff cost and look its lyin around in someone's back garden.

At first they tried makin rockets from concret but later they noticed that it didn't work

Ah the beech

There is like 1200 museums in this area, every village has a few.

Lovely red head I was goin to ask her if she had any irish in her , and if not did she want some.

I think this was the first pub to be freed from the Germans

When I got there so did a bus load of yappy school kids, jasus could they talk.

After I took the foto I saw the sign don't take fotos in this shop, so thats why she gave me a funny look.

It was short after the 65th anniversary of the D-Day landings.

I got lost the road turned into a mucky track

So the next day I bought a new memory card here

I had a choice the crappy small road or the motorway to get out of that town

From the road I saw this hill so i stopped to take a look and saw camping site so I called it a night got me a bed and dinner in the restuarant

After getting the room sorted I went for dinner and a few drinks then I went for a walk up the cliff hill

up the hill I went , after a few beers it was easy till I needed to pee.

Bit of a hike it was up that steep hill

Who's idea was it to climb this feckin hill, walkin for ages and only half way up

It was windy up there

When I got down the hill i saw this

It was been rode by this German Bloke, now with me speakin Nederlish and him
speakin Germanish we had a chat about the trips we are on and bikes in gereral
and a laugh, then off he went .

It looked like rain thats why I got the room instead of camping, now that I'm
back and I have received all my credit card bills I should have camped more often than I did .

It was the road 940 that i followed up the coast

Next day up before all the rest of the campers and I'm off again

When I crossed into Belgium I tore home like the clappers, cause I knew
in a couple of days I'd be off again

Crossed into Holland in Zeeland

And that was that I was home in me Home from home
