Has anyone examined the flat type air filter ? My last one came with the ends of the pleats not sealed. I.e. you can pass unfiltered air. Anyone else checked this recently?

Pattern or genuine?
I've had problems with pattern filters swelling up when they get damp restricting the airflow to such an extent the bike looses performance.

Which ever filter is supplied by motorworks. I checked some landrover filters yesterday at a show and all the pleats on those filters were glued so as not to allow unfilterted air in so maybe the ones I have had are just faulty?
Anybody else checked?
I checked mine after the Hograost Mark as I thought it would be full of dust from the Plain. All seemed fine. I think its an oem but was from Motoworks or bins.
