Air in the Forks

When reassembling the forks after removing the stanchions should you open the air bleed screws at the top to let air out if so how much or should all the air be left in or doesnt it matter?

I would presume that the air trapped in the fork would act as an air spring and fork action would change with oil height. Anyway the answer to your question is in that thread.
