you cant damage your exhaust when takin out the baffles on a euro 4 akra, well not unless your using shite allen keys, an your ham fisted:blast on my akra(bmw titanium) it appears when you look that the allen keys holding the baffles in have blobs of weld on them, to stop you from removing them:blast, in my opinion its just a bluff, if you put the allen key on them from new, slightest turn an it just brakes the weld and the allen key comes out as normal, along with the baffle:thumby:, then if your putting the baffle back in, when you put the allen key back in, because it has the tiniest of blob of weld, it still looks like its welded up to anyone lookin:green gri:D

Nice to know that will try it when I get it.

I went with a carbon GPR Italy exhaust, £250 and is superb quality and fit plus it has a removable baffle and compression cone

Don't buy a euro 4, I bought euro 3. Why be limited to the sound? I put on a euro 4 and did not like sound so asked to replace to euro 3, took out the baffles and now happy!

The price of Euro 3 Akras are the same £759

Euro4 Akras will soon be discounted vs Euro3... the whole point of getting an Akra is at least for the noise, and for that you need to take out the baffle.

not when you like toys and extras :)

I quite like the noise standard can makes. I had purchased previous Euro 3 GS with BMW Akra and baffles missing. So got used to the noise it made as never had an original can with it. For time being (next 12 months at least I am stating standard due to insurance cost being stupidly high with Akra.

The noise-no the tone-yes, don't take the baffles out if you're planning on installing Akra or other open cat-less headers or it will be silly loud.

silly loud:confused:, akra baffle in or out, least it sounds like its sposed to, theres loud cherry bomb loud and then theres aggressive throaty loud:D two worlds apart:blast
