alarm / immobiliser

I found some book conciderin that alarm/immo but there all sorts of irrelevant stuff in it since it was from LT.

Thanks

Hi, thanks, I found the book very useful, it is the same alarm fitted to my 2005 1150GSA. nice to know how it works, Dave

Get rid of the thing before your stuck in the middle of nowhere with no engine.

You'll find out when it wont start in the pouring rain in the dark 'cos it's armed it's self or immobilised the engine ask anyone on here we all steer well clear.
Install your own immobilising switch much better idea, not rocket science easily installed with the switch out of site only you know where only just remember it's there beofre you phone the breakdown co!.

Its lasted 6 years, my K1200 lasted 10years and still going well, no problem. Most new cars have them as standard too.
