All New Tuareg suit

I have the old Touareg rally suit and it is a good bit of kit.

Just been to the HG shop in Purley and they have the new one in. It is as nasty as the the pics indicate. It has suede patches all over it like those old mans cardigans used to have years ago.

They still had some of the old ones in stock in all sizes and they are far better looking.

The Cruise jacket and trousers that came 2nd for all weather suits in the latest Ride mag looks far better.

I was all set to buy the older style Tuareg kit and wondered why my local H-G store had none on display at my last visit. If anyone sees the older style for sale (especially at a discount) please post here so I can get one. Like many others, I'm not that keen on the new style.

I've just managed to get a hold of the old suite. The jacket was on the peg in the Dudley, West Mids branch, I had to order the trousers which came from York.

Ask the shop assistant to search their shops database, it takes time but there are bound to be some old style Tuareg's lurking around somewhere.

On par with the Beemer stuff IMO and the suite works out cheaper than the Beemer jacket alone!

Does anyone know who makes the Beemer kit?

PS. There was an XL Tuareg jacket on the peg in the Dudley store the other week, it has been there quite a while!

... had a look at the new suit today, it is HORRIBLE ..... a big disappointment ... not exactly selling well, by all accounts.

I'm sticking with my old HG gear, wish I'd bought two now .... its either that or look a complete prick in BMW gear.
