Just seen this about HRH.

That is a pity.

I only met the fellow once, at last year's Jockish Christmas party and he was definitely a top Tosser and a good host.

Before and since I have had some banter with JM on the site and a handful of PM's... all of which were always funny... and sold him various bits and bobs, always a good quick payer... The film clip of him leaping into the loch will remain a classic. A genuinely funny bloke, with a bizarre and sometimes cruel, sense of humour. Merciless in his belief in (and love of) Scotland, of course, and why not?

A glass to absent friends :beerjug: Send the coont my best if you see him around, please.

Yours aye,

Richard (FEB)

Totally agree with you Richard :thumb2:thumb2
But you put it a lot more eloquently than I can :)

That's debatable.

I enjoyed the vast majority of his contributions but the attempt (partly successful) to turn this Section into a forum within a forum is divisive.

The fact that this thread is posted in the SS is indicative of that division.

What a Fud ! Just proves Tuned Ins post is correct:rob

Good job you put a smiley on that

Johnny may have overstepped the mark quite a few times recently but it wasn't all of his own doing.. he had help...at least you know where you stood with him.. some may not have liked it but at least he had the balls to say what he thought... unlike quite a few on here

He did far far more good for the site than bad.. he made it interesting and fun,
Both him and Tash really went out of their way to show real hospitality when I and others visited Skye... who else would get carry outs and make breakfast for over 20 bikers. he also arranged lifts too and from the cèilidh and paid for it out of his own pocket.

Johnny has always been there when people have genuinely need help...when any of us has done as much then we can criticise.. but if you've put feck all in and do very little other than moan.. STFU I say.

I'm happy to have Johnny for mate and sad to see him go but it's his choice and hopefully the right one for him.

We're just another step closer to pulling out clip boards and safety officers.. we're becoming more the BMW perceived boring stereotype of middle class, middle aged, middle of the road politically correct mindless numpty everyday.. you have to only look at some of the inane ramblings and hand holding needed to see how far we've sunk....:(

We need more fun... does anyone still remember Fun?

Absolutely spot on. well done that man,:thumb2

The Ayr answer to Billy C was, in fact is, a real pane. He sets out to be transparent, brittle and has been seen completely glazed.

The thing is that he's occasionally faintly amusing as well. OK, very funny sometimes;)

He's a smart guy and deliberately set out to provoke a fight that he knew he couldn't win. He works to his own agenda and will doubtless return if and when he feels like round two. Or is that three?

How long was he away last time?

Does the C mean Connolly or ****? It's all a bit confusing now with the swear filter doodah...

I've only seen this thread due to a link from the pub.

Another character gone. Who didn't try to be all things to all men ( and women) which only leads to mundaness ( is there such a word ?).
And that could be what we have to look forward to in the future forum posts.

Nice jolly non-antogonistic language compliant posts to suit all and offend none. Vanilla posts. So beloved of the bland and sensible.
Like reading a ride report full road numbers, tyre wear rates and fuel consumption.

The king is dead, long live the scottish cunt. :thumb2
