right then. im looking for a smaller speedo for my little project and wondered if i could bung any analogue speedo on {if the cable fits}, or if they are geared inside to suit each bike? i've seen a few on t'internet that have idiot lights in and everything. i dont really want to go for a trail tech type as i'm trying to keep a 70's dirt bike feel. cheers in advance.

The best bet is one of the GPS speedos from the likes of Speedhut or http://www.digital-speedos.co.uk/


and yes the speedos are geared to match the bikes some of the speedo allow you to put your own ratio in or ride a fixed mile and calculate it themselves.
