Things I have discovered: Don't overfill the tank, in fact don't even fill it within sight of the filler. However, Husky have fitted a very efficient drain/breather
Things that have surprised me: With all the talk (on FB groups) of poor low down fueling/everybody and their dog fitting PCVs & intake kits I had budgeted for having to invest in some dyno time and fitting a little black box. Also, given mine is now Euro5 I really did think it'd run like a very lean running pig............. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. The fueling is a peach. Absolutely no hesitation, no hunting, no surging, just a smooth progressive throttle. I'm sure a tune will elicit more power but this thing is so powerful already I can't really see the point (mind you, I thought the same about my 1190R when I first got it and yes you can guess the rest

)
Things I hadn't expected: I've got the first (600 mile) service booked at the suppling dealer in Keithley on Friday morning. I've so far done 200 miles. My leg broke yesterday so I'm wizzing around in a wheel chair until I can collect it, hopefully fully repaired, COP Wednesday................ I've got a lot of miles to cover Weds/Thurs evening
Talking of 'miles' she's getting a proper shakedown this weekend so, Keithley Friday then after doing the DGR on Sunday (on the outfit) she'll be heading down to Canterbury, doing a Rapid training thing all Monday/Tuesday and then heading back to Nottingham COP Tuesday. I've ordered Husky's 'Ergo' seat........I hope it arrives in time!
