Righto as you guys are aware pastyman passed away yesterday and I've decided to buy his rt. flip has dads old Bertha and I just wanted to keep one of his bikes as well so the rt will be taking up residence alongside camille soon. so I'll probably be on here abit asking advice etc to keep the old thing in tip top condition.
Anyway my main job is to get Bertha working again for flip fly, the old bean can is buggered and we think it's the hall sensor, now flip has borrowed one to make sure that's the issue but I'm wondering if there is an electronic jobbie available to replace the bean can and what sort of costs are involved. Looking at camille she seems to run a Cdi system so one must be available.

Not Cheap Silent Hektic and Omega ignitions

Cheaper way is look for a 2AV54 hall vane sensor

Please Do NOT be tempted by the cheaper chinese version CYHME56 I built about 3 of these into one bean can thinking I'd screwed up and it turned out that the buggers had changed the spec and said I should have added a 1 K~Ohm resistor between the voltage differences

one set of 2AV54 honeywell no more problem

If you want the link to rebuilding bean cans I'll have a hunt bet there are a few out there
