I'm on for Saturday and looking forward to the delights of St Omer, I wonder if they have a kebab shop for Nigel? Flipping heck Nigel your luck's not exactly in is it? 2 punctures in 2 days in Wales in torrential rain and now a new final drive, surely there can't be anything else to go wrong!

Hence my recent enquiries about the cost of replacing my bike with a new 2010 GSA :augie

I will begin to get a reputation as a Jonah. Lets hope its a bit drier than Wales was.

Nigel

we might run into you lot what time have you all got.

I'm cheating

Off to Folkestone shortly for a night in a hotel so I can have a lay in, in the morning.
See you all tomorrow
Regards
Matt

The weather looks alright now for this weekend, not to bad. Just hope I can find a "bacon buttie van" on the way over to the train.:drool ooh!.....with brown sauce and a mug of tea.

See you all in the morning.

David.

Just back and had a cracking time. Weather was reasonable, roads were great, (even the off road bit :augie) nice scenery but why can't the French make a decent cup of tea?

Thanks to Richard for setting all this up, top bloke:thumb and not forgetting tail end Charlie keeping us all on the right path.

Hi All,

Just got back from a great weekend, Thanks to all for your company and putting up with my sarcasm and pi$$ taking :D

Things i learnt on this trip

NCPeirce really is a Jonah, he just brought rain with him this time (oh and congrats in doing your first little wheelie )

Tossers are top guys and girls

Wapping sorts out cracking trips :thumb2

oh and what route bloquée means :blast

Hope you all enjoyed the rest of the ride today, my route back to the tunnel was wet and interesting, see above.

Looking forward to the next one already.

Catch you all soon.

Lloyd

Giles, PM me your email address and i will send you the pics :thumb2

Completely gutted that at the 11th hour my passport went awol! Had looked forward to getting prepared on Friday evening for an early start and brother-in-law had even found his trousers. Open the drawer where passport resides - not. Needless to say spent Saturday getting a new passport rather than enjoying the fresh country air. Well Richard you'll just have to organise another.

Sounds like you all had an excellent time.

My thanks to everyone for making it a great two day jaunt.

Additional thanks too to Nigel for tail ending so manfully and getting us to Vimy in good shape this morning.

Roll on the next one :thumb2

Another great trip Richard, thanks for organising yet again. I'll try and post some pictures later if I can master that skill. As for the memorial at Vimy Ridge the Canadian/French really know how to do it properly.

Nice to meet you all guys and girls.

Richard, thanks very much for taking the time to organise the trip.

Stu

A big thankyou to Richard for organising a great weekend and for listening to my drunken ramblings late on in the bar:beer::blagblah

Thankyou to the rest of the party, really enjoyed your company.

Hangover has now gone and engine was fine. Bit strange that but no more load ticking.

Look foward to doing it again.
