Not very catastrophic this one but I noticed the other day that the stainless L shaped bracket that holds the rear preload adjuster to the bike frame was fatigued through all along its length at the point of the 90' fold. There was only about 4mm of metal still holding the adjuster in place and if it had broken totally I'm sure the adjuster would have swung into the rear wheel!!!!

That could have been interesting at speed so check yours before you ride next.

Read something similar here about the same bracket on an S

When I fitted my rear ohlins I discreetly cable tied around the bracket to the sub frame and the adjustment cable to the brake line just in case it decides to fail whilst moving.
