With 1150's it was crap lights, poor quality paint and fragile FD's and poorly designed screens.
With oil head 12's it was FPC's, ring antennae, poor quality paint, FD's and poorly designed screens.
Now that some of the Bog bikes are getting towards being run in have any generic issues come to light?
I am actually seriously considering a change as my almost faultless 1150 is 10 years old this year and almost to 90,000 miles. Despite several FD bearing failures it has never left me stranded at the side of the road.
A major concern for me is that the WC, I refuse to call it LC as oil is a liquid too, has the same bore and stroke as the oil head 12's and if the con rod length is also unchanged the same issues of harsh power pulses and ensuing transmission/FD problems may appear. Any issues yet?
P.S., if i do buy one I want a Hooton touring front crud catcher engraved with the words "Bog Bike" and ten years supply of ACF 50 or similar (better?) jollop.

Totally different clutch and transmission.
