Right, I need to ramp up the cycling, as it's been far too long, and the gym is getting boring.
As its Royal Ascot next week, the gym will be a no go zone, so I'm planning on getting the bike out as much as possible.

Got up at 5.30 am, did Honister pass, Keswick loop, just over 36 miles!
3 hours exactly, just over 12mph

Impending surgery on my shoulder means I'm limited to short rides with my boy (that's not a bad thing I just miss getting the miles in and I am carrying a 2 yr old.
We've done 12 miles along the canal ( sod rule 24!).
By my reckoning that's 2 more pints I can have with my Father's Day meal later.

My longest ride
Mate and his misses popped round early afternoon and asked if fancy a push bike ride up to the local.
Fine by me as only 300yds from my house, they had come 2.5 miles.
Met them a the pub, quick pint. We decide to go on to local village Cricket match, about 1.5miles. We get 150yds back in the direction I came from (towards the Cricket Ground) and another mate shouts from his garden, "do you lot fancy a quick drink in the back garden", seemed rude not to.
Anyway short story long, 4 hours (and 6 pints ) later I cycle the remaining 150yds back home.
I make that 600yds and 7 pints. I feel really proud of myself. Easy this keep fit isn't it.
