some nice photos and roads how are the tkc"s in the snow??

I wasnt using tkc's. have been trying the metzeler karoo2 "T" a lot cheeper and seem as good as the tkc's, the trick is to keep the wheels turning fast enough top clear the build up of snow then their fine. if you go to slow, the treat clogs and you might aswell put slicks on

Tell you what kirk, that new gear i got from HG is spot on for the money, i know you dont work there anymore but who needs to go and pay over the odds for a twat suit.it was -4 that day and i was like toast. tell a lie!!! my thumb on my right hand got cold.

OK guys back in the warmth. What a fun ride that was, the drifts are starting to form and the little 800 just ploughed threw them, a little twitchy at low speeds but standing on the pegs she was nice and stable, here are a few pics if your intrested. I MUST LEARN TO READ !!

today's the first time I'd have even considered taking the bike out. Main roads are fine but our side roads are still covered though it's melting. Going up to Liverpool on Wednesday and thinking I may take the train. Don't have knobbly tires on mine and I've come off in the snow once this winter.

Might consider it again once the head protectors arrive from Steptoe, but not in the snow and ice until then.

Might consider a set of Karoo T's, they're half the price of TKC's at the moment.
