Anyone Hilltopped a Watercooled GSA Yet? Thoughts?

Although I have had a GS-LC Hilltopped, what I like about Mark's 'easy' is that I presume that you can remove it each time you change your bike to fit it to the next bike, I change my bike every 12 months or so, and getting each one hilltopped could prove quite expensive.

However my new 2017 E4 GS is the best so far...very smooth fueling all the way through the rev range, although to gain a little extra power is always nice, providing it is with a nice smooth delivery.

I look forward to reading a few more posts on this new device.

Hi Geezer :D this is another thread which goes on about the Evo (being the next step up from the Easy) but does give a customers view of the improvements which ca be had from this range of kit. Worth just reading the first post!

Anywhere closer to London/Hertfordshire to get the same thing done? Leicester is a bit far for a remap.

I would guess he is about a1.5 hour ride for you....if you don't wan to go that far your options are limited to fitting the AF XIED units which will achieve similar results.....easy to fit and cost about the same.

Mark, A few questions, since many are assuming that the Easy does what the AF-XIED does but there is no information on the Rapid Bike site.

1) does the Easy come with OEM connectors for plugging in to the O2 connector or do you have to mod the harness?

2) does the Easy shift Lambda or does it periodically (at a certain duty cycle) hold the O2 voltage low (like other older shifters)?

3) what are the two dials for on the Easy?

4) do you have any AFR plots taken while riding?

5) can you take a riding log with the GS-911 so that we can examine the Easy's functioning with the BMSK.

All the above has been demonstrated for the AF-XIED and Innovate Motorsports LC-2. If you lack the instruments you could send me a loaner unit and I'll produce the data.

83bhp? I'd be taking the before dyno figures to BMW and ask what was wrong with your bike.
 
Something wrong there. They should be putting out about 110bhp at the rear wheel from production. The AT puts out 82bhp @ the back wheel..
