Anyone know Adam Reimann’s Northern Ireland Route?

Seen that and was so good to see an expert get stuck in a bog hole, makes me feel less like a idiot rider

I looked with interested curiosity at Adam's video & do not know exactly where he was. Given that "access" in Ireland is a somewhat fraught topic with no clearly understood "right of way" legal foundation; I'd be reluctant to identify any such trail on a www forum. The perceived custodians (local farmers) can have there tolerance tested, if hordes descend on their bit of bog. Especially if one of the horde gives the farmer a bit of "lip". That gate that Adam opened (& closed) would quickly have a padlock on it.
Putting all that tiresome sermonising to one side; Muckish mountain is clearly visible in the video & the sea is not far away. The profile of Muckish puts Adam to its SE IMHO. He is not far from Lough Salt is my best guess. It's a long way from Kerry to Donegal & given that Kerry beat Donegal in the football final recently, I'd be wary of a visit for a month or two. If I do manage to pinpoint it, will I boast about it here - probably not. But if any of ye know the exact location, a friendly PM would be appreciated.

Getting warm - but suspect the piece is a pastiche of multiple trails in the area - most of which did not host the "Google" camera.
The track in the above pic goes down to Greenan Lough (full of wee brown trout!) water pumping station and would eventually lead on to the main N56 Kilmacrennan - Creeslough road near Termon. The ruined cottage was part of a village for a four part BBC drama called 'The Hanging Gale' about the Irish Famine and starred all of the McGann brothers (I watched quite a bit of the filming at the time on my way down to fish the lough)
It was the green patch among the brown, in the Google satellite image, that allowed me find the cottage (1).
There is a cluster of wee buildings (2) not far away - I'll have an explore one of these years.
I lack Adam's skill & youth to take a big bike solo off piste.

AS indeed we talked about Thorr School up by Croithli
And to be honest there are enough "Wee" roads about Donegal that the OP wouldn't need to go through bogs at all
I could range out from Dungloe where my folks place is and spend a week I am sure just up and down the wee roads ending up in some fantastic places
I actually feel sorry for people who feel they must do the wild atlantic way, They miss out on So much!!

You’re right there….i have the bike 8 months. My favourite spots in Mayo are around Keenagh, Furnace, Sheskin and Inagh bogs. It’s great to turn off the engine and take in the isolation.Take a wee bike @GerryC ??

I, who knows almost zero about Ireland, outside of ‘our bit’ in the north east and a bit about Dublin * find these small roads in the wilderness fascinating. I like finding them in north east France and into Flanders. Odd that some bods call north east France “Boring mate” but then celebrate (with good reason) rural Ireland.

Surely cannot be Ireland, those lanes are pretty much bone dry! Beautiful scenery, I've only been a couple of times, both to SW, Dingle etc, looks like another trip could be in order, just lovely.
