anyone using a omega ignition?

There was a long thread on ADV riders, by a guy who installed one with a bar mounted switch so that he could swap between the original and the Omega on the move..

He couldn't tell the difference in performance , so nothing gained there.

But the concept of a crank mounted backup system with a choice of curves has a certain appeal, so dont let me put you off.

I have one on my GS and it is been trouble free in 60,000km, but so have the Boyer systems on my other bikes, and they cost considerably less.
