As previously said, Marina nice for a coffee. Head out via A12/A14 (signed Felixstowe) over the Orwell Bridge for Woodbridge (excellent converted caravan cafe on the Deben river - look for signs for The Tide Mill) for tea and bacon butties. Take route out towards Sutton Hoo (A1152) which will take you to the Rendlesham Forest roads, or B1084 Orford Road. Orford is a lovely small town, great Adnams pub, castle, and small quay, with a tea bar, and you'll be able to see the concrete bastions where they blasted tested parts of our atomic bombs (romantic). If you end up on the A12 towards Lowestoft, then there is a wiggly back road (B1119) to Framlingham (nice pub by the Castle) that is terrific and worth doing both ways.
Enjoy
