Aoocci C6 Pro

I’ve reviewed both the C6 and the C9 and in my limited testing I had no issues at all with connectivity or dropping out etc. everything operated as expected but obviously the proof in the pudding would be long term testing in hot weather and rain etc but I didn’t have time to do that but a guy who rides for the same Blood Bike group as me bought a C9 using my discount code and so far he’s had no issues (fingers crossed).

The BM5.5 they sent me out had severe issues with the screen so it looks like they’ve taken that off sale to refine the manufacturing of it.

My second C6 Pro arrived in a week from ordering !
Fitted it to Vstrom today , powering it up via a Healtech Thunderbox
The unit now has AOCI written on it

A few minor issues with this one .
One of the sun shield screws has a dodgy thread and one bolt still has swarf in it !

Didn’t use them anyway .

Most annoyingly there’s a bit of play in the mount bracket .
No such issues with first unit .

I’ve ordered a Ram jobby instead which is neater

And I didn’t bother to fit the cameras or remote as really don’t need either .

Still a great deal at £136 delivered even with minor hiccups

I've also got a C6 pro, but have not fitted the cameras or remote. Is anyone using the cameras or remote? What are your experiences? Thanks

Fitted cameras. I guess if you get hit or need to prove stuff its worth having them recording. I haven't had any experiences, because thankfully I haven't been knocked off yet 😂

What I will say is that despite the 'marketing' the display simply isn't bright enough when the sun is out. Not a patch on a Garmin I'm afraid, which is very disappointing. Good unit let down by a poorly lit display.

I used mine on 2500 mile trip around Spain/Portugal/France and the brightness was just fine and we had blue skies and sunshine 90% of the time.

I had no problem with the brightness on my C3 in bright sunshine in Croatia and Romania. I'll test the C6 in the Sahara in October.

Hmmm. Maybe mine is poorly then. I had a problem in the hot weather with it switching itself off. I contacted them to resolve and they pretty much ignored me. Quite poor. I had a one liner saying remove the SD card. It was a good quality fast one, not a cheapy. I messaged back saying that without the card it won't record any incidents - which makes fitting the cameras pointless. Zero response. I'll try again.

Going to order a C6 pro and wanting to mount using a ram mount. Do you get this setup with it ?
There is this but not sure if you get everything in the pictures ?

Cheers Doc

Use code LCR22 for 22% discount .

Final payment will be in dollars but should work out at about £132

Am I correct that the navigation aspect of these units require your phone to have a constant signal ?
